Redis is an advanced key-value store. The entire dataset is stored in memory but saved to disk asynchronously. Values in Redis can be strings, lists, sets, ordered sets, and hashes. Each plan is fully managed and all of the paid plans include backups.
We have been using Redis To Go for a while now without issue...until three days ago.
Three days ago, the database we used for our staging server stopped responding. We immediately filed a support ticket. After 36 hours without a reply, I sent another one. 12 hours later I finally receive a reply.
I provide my account information, explain the issue and immediately get a response closing the ticket, stating that there is no issue, and a link to the "How to Redis" guide.
The awful support response times were enough to get me looking elsewhere, but the rudeness and uselessness of their support staff was the nail in the coffin.
We will be leaving Redis To Go as soon as possible and never look back.
Using it for almost a year now with Resque gem, and it as always been fast and reliable.
I appreciate the mail when my redis instance is almost full
we've been using redis to go on production for over a year, we never had to complain, the Redis To Go team is responsive and reliable. It just work.
